The fortieth annual an-nual convention of the National Wool-Growers' Wool-Growers' association opened) this morning morn-ing in the Tabor 'Grand opera-house, the meeting being called to order by Senator Jesse M. Smith of Utah, who Is president, of the1 association. After the annual reports' of the officers had bee read "a committee of seven was appointed to consider the' proposed reorganisation re-organisation of the National Live-Stock association with instructions to report to the general body of the Wool-Growers' association at,'as early a date as possible. ...... The proposed reorganization is based upon the various branches of the livestock live-stock Industry, each branch being considered con-sidered as a unit, and the representation representa-tion qf that unit to be regarded as standing for Its Interests In the annual live-stock conventions., which have of late become somewhat Unwieldy on account ac-count of the large number of delegates. Each branch of the Industry is to be controlled by a general committee of Its own members, and the sole executive execu-tive authority of the national organisation organisa-tion will be confined to a committee composed of one representative from each branch of the live-stock Industry. - During the afternoon session, the programme pro-gramme Included flve-minute addresses on the condition of. the sheep and wool industry in. the various countries.
