Show Sues Saloonkeepers. Mrs. Bertha Peterson filed an action In the Second District court Saturday egainst H. McMartln and seven other saloon-keepers which is believed to be the first action of the kind ever filed in the State. It is alleged in the complaint thitt the defendants are saloon-keepers and that on the night of September 10 they sold liquor to Hans Peterson, husband of the plaintiff; as a result of drinking the same he attempted to ride a bicycle from which he fell and was permanently injured. in-jured. The plaintiff asks for $300 damages. |
