Show Advcrtlibg Silt Lcke. - The movement of the local hotel men to properly advertise and place Bait Lake City's attractions and resources property before the trareling public is a most commendable one, and deserving of the aid and encouragement of all citizens. It is in line with the efforts of the Real Estate Dealers' association and of The Telegram to acquaint the people of other localities with the advantages of Salt Lake as a place of residence and investment. The advertising placed by The Telegram in Harper's Har-per's Magazine is already bearing good fruit, as sbown from time to time in tnese columns, inquiries in-quiries are coming in from all parts of the country, induced by this advertising, and the information sought is being supplied to the writers from the proper sources. ' The Heal Estate Dealers' association is planning an active campaign to show Eastern people the advantages ad-vantages of locating and investing here. This body is already doing good work along this line, and strangers are being impressed with the possibilities of the intermountain metropolis. The Hotel Men's association, bejng in position to direct in some measure the tide" of tourist travel, will certainly do much good toward the forward movement in Salt Lake. The attracting of strangers stran-gers here cannot but result in benefit. Again, the movement augurs a revival of local interest in Salt Lake. Salt Lake people need to be aroused themselves. They are being aroused. These movements indicate it. The Telegram will do all in its power to promote any movement that tends to the upbuilding of Salt Lake and Utah. |
