The temperature at the Ogden canyon dam was 28 deg. below zero last night. " ')''' ''- ' ' The Telluride plant has been, useless to the street car service for several days for . the same reason. Consequently,, all the' power available Is from the steam plants located In the city. These stations are three In number and furnish fur-nish but one-half the necessary power. Eleven of the cars were taken' off the lines yesterday and the' same number' are off today. This cuts the Third street service to 15 minutes; South Temple' to 12; First South to 15; Center to 30; West Seventh South to one hour, and State to Twelfth South to a half-hour service. East Second South is on a fifteen-minute fifteen-minute service, while other cars are running as usual. - - .- The heavy fall of snow has made it necessary for the ploughs to be out all the tlma. Power was kept on and the ploughs were run all of Wednesday and Thursday nights, and are still running on the Fort Douglas line, where the snowdrift quickly' bury the tracks. , Four cars which will be added "to the various lines are expected dally. They will be put on the Sixth street and First street lines. The Sixth street line will run on a ten-minute service, while the First street line will be made a twelve-xninute twelve-xninute line. -Half a dozen other, cars will be In service as eoon as they can be rushed from the factory. .
