The tricky lawyer can not win nowadays; that . time has passed and we have no place for lawyers of that kind. -Student and Worker. . The young roan w;ho enters upon this . profession must be a student and a i .worker. He must be capable ofhe closest application. He can not de-pend de-pend upon " oratory; it is out of the - . question now. There is nothing in it He must also have perseverance that . is a necessary quality. He should never get discouraged, but keep right at his work and never give up. A ' man does not eucceed in the practice ; of law until after years of work, and , It means hard work and lots of it. 43ars Bad Habits.
