Show JURY DISAGREES' IN TRIAL FOR MURDER CHICAGO, Feb.14. The jury in the Bremner murder case disagreed and were discharged today. The trial, which, attracted considerable consider-able attention, was the outcome of the shooting of Lewis Mitchell, an attorney, by Robert Brenner on May 3, 1902. Mitchell was seated in his office when Bremner entered, and fired two shots at Mitchell with fatal results. No one saw the shooting or heard the conversation conver-sation which led td it. Fancied Jealousy Is supposed to have been the cause. The plea of the defense was Insanity. |
