Show BRAKEMAN WANTED HIS MONEY. BACK, A railroad brakeman giving the name of Jack Thomas appealed to the police this morning-, for the return of J42.75 which he feaid he had lost over a gaming gam-ing table In a West South Temple street saloon. Thomas was referred to the City Prosecutor. He said that all he wanted was his money back. He did not want to appear against the men who had the money, and. would not swear to a complaint. com-plaint. He was advised that if he would .not get a complaint nothing could be done for him, as the police department was not running a collection agency. Thomas declined to swear out that necessary instrument, as he wished to avoid notoriety.- ' |
