Butler of San Francisco, representing the American Consolidated Consoli-dated Oil company. Is making a ten days' trip through the oil fields and properties owned by himself 'and company com-pany in the vicinity of Evanston. The management of the Margaret mine, at Statellne, reports a strike on the 150-foot level which shows an average av-erage of $13.40 per ton in gold and silver. sil-ver. M. M. Johnson of the Newhouse staff returned this morning from the Cactus mine out of Frisco. He reports everything every-thing in satisfactory condition, with nothing of especial interest. Dr. Franklin of the Blackbird and other properties left last evening for Colorado on business pertaining to mines. The Columbus Mining company, whore office was in the Atlas block, will henceforth be located ih the Commercial Commer-cial club building. The Wild Bill Mining company's office, of-fice, which was at the rear end of the hall in the Central block, was completely com-pletely burned out. The company has not yet located new quarters. |
