Show Dined by Silk Men. NEW YORK. Feb. 12. Governors of Important Im-portant commercial States, Consuls and men prominent in the social and business world, were guests last night of the Silk Association of America at Oelmonlco's on the occasion of the society's thirty-first annual dinner. At the guest table were Leslie M. Shaw. Secretary of the Treasury; Treas-ury; Menslck Kahn. Minister from Persia; Per-sia; Governor Chamberlain of Connecticut and Tyng Chang Kwang, Chinese Consul at the port of New York. The souvenirs were large cabinet photographs of President Presi-dent Roosevelt woven in silk. The principal prin-cipal speaker was Secretary Shaw, who. responded to the toast "The President of the United States." |
