Show HUMBERTS ARE DEFIANT Interrupt Witnesses Frequently Fre-quently With Angry Contradictions. PARIS, Feb. 12. The trial of the libel suit brought by M. Catteani, a banker, against the Humbert family, which began be-gan yesterday, was resumed today. There were laree crowds inside and outside the courtroom. The prisoners maintained the same defiant attitude, Mme. Humbert and her husband, Frederic, Fred-eric, frequently interrupting the witnesses wit-nesses with angry contradictions. Most of the session was devoted to Senator Cremleux's explanation of the prisoners' prison-ers' legal connection with Catteani. |
