RUSSIA'S ACTIONS ARE REGARDED SIGNIFICANT. . PEKING, May 9.-Russias coup has ' caused profound surprise here, as recent developments had led to the expectation . ' that Russia would compromise her demands, de-mands, since they had been revealed to the powers.
