Declines were in th majority, led by yesterday's speculative favoritea except Rock Island, which sold at 30 H to 81 compared com-pared with 80 Vi last night on the transfer i of 8500 shares. St. Paul ' fell 1 H and Union Pacific. Southern Pacific and Reading Virginia Iron advanced -3 and Detroit United Railway 1H. Prices were marked 'up with little delay fter-lbe- opening- dealings. - -Thr-nrost important im-portant movementa were limited to lass than naif dozen stocks and. elsewhere th fluctuations fluctu-ations were narrow. St. Paul and Reading Read-ing were th dominant features, bat there was also a considerable movement and lively live-ly intereat in Union Pacific and Amalgamated Amalga-mated Copper.
