LIGHT FOR EAGLE GATE Improvements at the Gate and Brigham v Young Monument in View. .lans are on-foot, and work will be begun soon, 16 furnish a splendid system sys-tem of lighting for Eagle Gate, at the bead of State street, and for the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young monument at Main and South Tomple streets. : v Eagle Gate will be lighted by four clusters of thirty-two ; candle power electric lights in frosted globes. Each of these clusters will be of five lamps, one cluster to be placed on each of tbe four standards supporting' the trusses which meet to form the pedestal ped-estal for the bronze eagle which gives the historical gate its name. The Brigham Young monument will be Ugh'ed by two arc lights, one on the east'and one on the west side, supported sup-ported by ornamental Iron poles similar sim-ilar to those used in front of the Erne-ery-Holmes apartment house.
