Joseph then moved to strike out the portion of the bill referring to the inspection in-spection of steam . boilers, as he said that W. Gromar then had a similar bill pending, but the motion lost. Hawley's H. B. No. 77, providing that where County Treasurers fail Xo make reports to the State Treasurer their compensation for one quarter shall be withheld by the County Commissioners, was passed yesterday by the House by unanimous vote. Kinney's B. B. No. 45, providing for additional means of taking depositions outside the State, was also unanimously unanimous-ly passed. |
