Show LOUGDBEY IS HELD TO DISTRICT COURT Thomas Loughney, charged in three complaints with embesxleraent was held to answer In the Third District court by Judge Dlehl thai morning. He Is alleged to have embezsled an aggregate of 2404. He was employed by Grant & Howard, general agents pt the Utah and Mexican Rubber company, as a sub agent He Is alleged to have sold stock in the company to various persons, telling them that the stock would be forwarded to them by the company. He is then alleged to have failed to turn in the cash received, or notify the company that the sales had been made. Among the witnesses were Cashier J. D. Peters of the First National bank of Brigham City, Lars Hansen and Christen Petersen of Brigham City. .Their witness wit-ness fees and mileage were $13.20 each for service for an hour this morning. Lough-ney's Lough-ney's bonds were fixed at $700. |
