Show SOUTHERN COMPANIES ' IN GOOD CONDINION Col. A. v( Kesler of the National Guard reported to Gov. Cutler yesterday the condition con-dition of company A Nepbl, and company P, MantL The report stated that company com-pany V was in excellent shape and' has a fine armory on the top floor of the city halt The company is full, and haa a fine lot of officers and well-drilled men. Company A has had a great many drawbacks draw-backs and serious problems to settle. The men have the poorest kind of a building for an armory, and as nearly all of the members are away from town during dur-ing the winter, interest has languished. The company has recently been reorganized, reor-ganized, and there are fair prospects for the future and a better armory. |
