Show ROTARIAN BOARD OFFICERS ELECTED miCB. April 2 The annual election of the Rotary club was held Thursday night. Carl R. Marmusen, Claude Kmney, a. loyle Hadley, Mace Nlchnl-sen, Nlchnl-sen, Frank L.. Bucko and Matt Oil more were elected directors and they, together with President J. Rex Miller, retiring head of the club, will form the board. A program was rendered by Mrs. Helvle Van Orden. Miss Florence Sperry and Mrr Fdlth Olaen. Mrs. Van Orden told the story of the "Bohemian Girl" and the other two sang several solos. Arnold Hiirgener, who leads the choir, which will reproduce the opera in the near future, fu-ture, arranged for the program. Mies Baker, who Is here investigating the proposition of becoming the secretary of the Commercial club, spoke briefly. Judge IMlworth Woolley of the Seventh Judicial district told the club that he had learned to admire Price as a city with a distinctive Individuality. He said: "Price needs to let theerest of the state know, what a wonderful place It i." He af- 1 firmed that Price could measure up to j any city In the state In the quality of ! Its citizenry, the activity of Its business, busi-ness, the number of Ita churchea. the high standard of its elementary and high schools and the usefulness of Its public minded organisations, such as Klwanla, Rotary and Commercial clubs. J. lee. Ien Fulmer and Orson Madaen to visit the local post office and offer suggestions sug-gestions as to the Improvement of the service. |
