Clan Finds By STAN BOWMAN O IAN One can find what pastors bishops and rabbis call genuinely genuinely genuinely religious families in any church in Salt Lake City An example of such a family and how it can spread faith to others through its own faith is the family of Mr and Mr Mrs C. C S. S Gulp Culp East Within a few months of Mr r. and Mrs CuIp's Gulps arrival in Salt Lake City in 1918 they joined the First Methodist church They had been active Methodists before before before be be- fore coming here so 50 naturally they soon became active in the church here Take Active Part Mr Culp CuIp became church steward steward steward stew stew- ard and has been on the official board for many years Mrs Culp CuIp besides teaching Sunday school for many years is a past president president president dent of the Ladies Aid Society Following in their footsteps came three sons and a daughter Glenn V V. Cub Gulp Culp Mrs C. C Leander R. R C. C Cub Culo and Hamer S. S Culp They and their children have carried on the tradition of church attendance and activity For example there is the family fam fam- fly ily of Mr and Mrs Glenn V.
