State Tax Commission Plans County Meetings The estate tax commission Tuesday will begin its second series of meetings meetings meet ings with county boards of equalization tion as a preliminary to determining the assessed valuation of ot the state for 1933 Chairman George A. A Critchlow will leave Tuesday morning for meetings with the boards of Duchesne Uintah and Daggett counties while Roscoe E. E Hammond and one other commissioner commis li abner oner will begin meetings with wilh boards In Davis Weber Cache Box Elder and Rich counties Either Commissioner J. J W. W Knight or Commissioner Howard P. P Leatham will remain in Salt Lake to conduct the affairs of ot the commission Mr Hammond and Mr Knight returned Monday from meetings with boards in southern counties The county boards following these meetings will submit to the commis sion slon secondary reports of assessed valuations and the commission then will effect equalization between coun ties These final ass assessments ments added to the assessments of mines and utilities made by the tax commission will form Corm the valuation upon which the 1933 state tax levy will be applied
