Winners Selected In Debate Contest Winners of oC the seventeenth annual Foster debating contest at Westminster Westminster Westminster ster college were selected Friday y night following a debate on the question question question ques ques- tion Resolved That trial by Jury should be abolished in the United States Helen Wheeler a member of the affirmative team was awarded the first prize of 30 10 and Lois Smith a member of the negative team won second prize of 20 Other members o of the teams were Glenn Phillipps affirmative and Kelvin Sharp nega nega- tive The contest which is open to all students of Westminster college collese is sponsored by W W. H. H T. T Foster of or Sioux Falls S. S D. D Professor La Verne Vernc Bane Bare of the University of Utah was the judge Professor W W. 0 O.
