Show Entertainment and Presentation, last evening in entertainment, consisting of songs, choruses, recitations, reci-tations, etc, was given In the Twenty-first Ward wcellng-house, which was crowded on the occasion. A cantata, entitled ''Tho Secret" was excellently rendered, as was also the operettaof "Cinderella." A pleasing feature of thu Katlieriag was thn presehlation of a skilfully penned compllmcntipy address (in a ueat frame) to Brother Thomas Mclutyrv, as a small recognition of his kindly services In Instructing the young members of his class ln the tonic-sol-fa system of music The children In addition, through one of Ihe elder girls, handed Brother Mclntyre a Moral tribute iu the shape cf a harp, while his daughter, who presided at tho or-Ran, or-Ran, was presented wltbaiimllarglfL The cvcning'ii enteitainment wa greatly enjoyed by all present. |
