Kautz, Colonel cf the Kiglith United States Infantry, was sislted at army headquarters here today, en route to Kurt Niobrara, Nebraska, Ne-braska, where, his regiment is stationed. sta-tioned. The charges preferred by General Kautz against General Brooke, together with the countercharges counter-charges preferred by General Brooke against General Kautz, have, by mutual agreement, been withdrawn, and the difficulty between the two officers compromised. The withdrawal with-drawal of the charges was promulgated promul-gated by the War Department today.
