Show Lots of Iloom. Chicago, Sept. 12. Colonel It. K. Guodell of the World's Fair com-mhelon com-mhelon from Colorado, slid to au Associated I'rcse representative iu an Interview tonight: "The people need have no fears about ample room for all of the exhibi ta, as there III be at least six hundred acres 1 11 Jackson Park, and the use of the lake front will add seventy-flvu acres more. On the lakn front is to be placed tbe building for fine arts. This sluice Is to be simply used as a gateway to the great exposition proper at Jackson Park. One admission ad-mission from either end will cover tbe whole show. No extra cliargo will be made It transporting visitors either by water or rail between the gateway on the lake front and the main exhibit and Jacxsoti Park. The time required willbeonlyabout ten minute, and will be alon the cool, beautiful shore of lake Mkhl gan. As fur Colorado, California and all the great empires in the West, they will be amply provided with space, and especial care will be taken tn provide for their mineral, agricultural, livestock and fruit exhibits." |
