Show C. 0 C. To Install Officers Wednesday Membership Meeting To Feature Talks On Armory Topics By Gen. J. Wallace West and Col. Wm. Weiler, At 8 p. m. In Memorial Hall The annual membership meeting of the Springville Chamber of Commerce is to be conducted next Wednesday evening, January 29, beginning at 8 p. m., in Memorial hall, announces J. A. Miller, secretary.' Scheduled to attend the meeting meet-ing as guest speakers are General J. Wallace West, who will discuss equipment in the National Guard unit, and Col. Wm. Weiler, who will explain what a national guard unit will mean to Springville. The topics to be discussed are of special interest to every citizen in Springville and a large attendance atten-dance of Chamber of Commerce members are expected to be present pres-ent at the meeting. The meeting will also feature the installation of the new officers, offi-cers, including G. Lowry Anderson, who will take over the position of president; Dr. C. A. King, vice-president; vice-president; A. W. , Cherrington, Dave Friel, Mel Haymond, Jack Robertson, directors J. Y. Bearnson, Bearn-son, Ernest Boyer, Wm. Phillips, Merle Sargent and Verl Whiting are holdover directors. The retiring officers are Paul Haymond, president; Ed Johnson, vice-president; Maurice Anderson, J. W. Grant, Howard Maycock and Paul Thorn, directors. The new officers will be installed by F. C. Packard, a past-president, and J. Y. Bearnson will be toast-master toast-master for the evening. |
