Show PROGRAM PLANNED AS MISSIONARY FAREWELL SUNDAY Robert J. Sumsion, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Sumsion of this city will leave in the very near future on a mission to the East Central States. In his honor, a farewell testimonial testi-monial has been arranged by the Fourth ward Sunday evening, beginning be-ginning at 6 p.m., to which all ward members and friends are being invited. He will enter the mission home on Monday morning, June 21, and shortly thereafter will leave for his mission. A graduate of the Springville high school and Seminary, Elder Sumsion is an exservice man andl ' - - - i , f f- f ROBERT SUMSION since his discharge has been attending at-tending the Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. His farewell program will include: in-clude: opening song, by the congregation, con-gregation, "O Say What Is Truth," followed by invocation by C. Edwin Ed-win Johnson. The Sacrament song will be followed by a piano solo, rendered by Richard Sumsion, brother of the missionary. Ernest A. Strong, stake president, will speak and Mrs. Evelyn Boyer will give a vocal solo. There will be remarks by Mr. and Mrs. Sumsion, parents and a response by the departing missionary. mis-sionary. Bishop Frank A. Berrett will also speak briefly. After the closing song, Wilbur Allan will offer the benediction. |
