Show : SERVICES TODAY FOR VICTIM OF CAR ACCIDENT Funeral services for Albert Mark Hicken, 23, who died Sunday Sun-day morning in a car-truck accident acci-dent near Grand Junction, Colo., will be held Thursday at 2 p. m., in Springville Second ward chapel, chap-el, Church of Jesus --Christ of Latter-day Saints by Oliver Dal-ton, Dal-ton, bishop. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. cem-etery. Friends may call at the Claudin funeral home, Springville, before the services. y He was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, son of Albert and Ruth, Skousen Hick-en. Hick-en. He lived in Canada until 1940, when he moved to Utah. He was educated In Raymond schools and was in the merchant marine during dur-ing World War II. He was a member' of the L D S church and had been employed for the past five years by Deal Men-denhall Men-denhall Construction Co., Springville, Spring-ville, and was working for Strong Construction Co., Springville, at time of death. He was married Aug. 21, 1946, in Los Angeles, Cal. t Survivors are his wife, Earlene, Inglewood, Cal.; a son, Duane Mark Hicken, Inglewood; his parents, par-ents, Canada; two sisters: Mrs. Hazel McArthur, Canada, and Mrs. Cleve Erickson, Richfield; three brothers: Howard, Reed and Dale Hicken, all of Canada; a grandmother, Mrs. Vina Hicken, Canada. |
