Show ALPHA BETA CLUB MEMBERS ENTERTAINED Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson entertained enter-tained at her home Friday afternoon after-noon for members of the Alpha Beta club. Mrs. W. W. Clyde, the vice-president and newly-elected president, presided during the meeting. An interesting program was presented, including a talk on Canada by Mrs. Erwin Sheffield, a report on the state convention by Mrs. Milton Harrison, and a violin solo by Gordon Childs, accompanied ac-companied by Robert Thorn. Tasty refreshments were served by the hostess at the close of the program, and it was announced that members of the club would meet next Thursday afternoon, May 4, at the Red Cross rooms to assist with surgical dressings. |
