Show POLITICS IN FULL SWING AT S. II. S. Veteran politicians might get a few lessons this week from the local lo-cal high school as leaders of two parties, the Red and the Blue, stump for their various candidates for officers of the student body. Elections will be conducted Friday. Fri-day. In the senior high school, the Red party has nominated Bennie Olsen ' for mayor; Barbara Bird, secretary; Allan Wingate, judge; Russell i'aiireyman, cilman; Ray Lawrence and William Wil-liam Pratt, one-year councilmen; Marcile Waters, senior representative; representa-tive; Dick Haymond, junior representative; rep-resentative; John Condie, sophomore sopho-more representative. The Blue party has nominated El Wood Haymond for mayor; Louise Averett, secretary; Dick Wilkins, judge; Ray Miller, two-year two-year councilman; Paul Eggertsen and Tom Cummings, one-year councilmen; Valetta Fullmer, senior sen-ior representative; Frances Allred, junior representative; Norma Brockbank, sophomore representative. representa-tive. In the junior high school Blaine Bird and Jimmie Fullmer are in the race for the office of junior high school president. Wallace Bird and RaNee Packard have been nominated for the office of two-year councilmen; Joan Bird, Jack Morgan, Wendell Packard and Ruth Sargent for one-year councilmen two to be elected; Marie Bramall and Joan Wilkins, for seventh grade representative. |
