Show D. U. P. CAMP SPRING CREEK MEETING Camp Spring Creek D. U. P. members met at the home of Mrs. Rebecca Reynolds Thursday afternoon after-noon with Mrs. Cleonda Miner, Mrs. Zola Gogarty, Mrs. Ivie Anderson An-derson and Helen Reynolds, assisting assist-ing hostesses. Mrs. Christie Lee, captain, was in charge of the urogram which included a vocal duet by Mrs. Erva Brailsford and Mrs. Eliza Taylor, entitled, "Utah, We Love Thee;" a piano selection by Kathleen Jackson; the history of Alma H. and Sarah Jane Alleman Spafford, written by Mrs. Martha McKenzie and read by Mrs. Helen M. Jackson. Jack-son. The lesson on Utah governors was given in an interesting manner man-ner by Mrs. Anna Johnson, class leader. Mrs. Myrtle Clayson of the Utah county organization was in attendance atten-dance and heard a report by the nominating chairman, Mrs. Clara Boyer, who announced that Mrs. Christie Lee has been re-nominated captain of the camp with Mrs. Eva C. Johnson, first vice-captain and Mrs. LaPreal Friel, second vice-captain, and that these executive execu-tive officers would make appointments appoint-ments "and fill vacancies in the organization. or-ganization. The county officer and Captain Lee spoke briefly. At the close of the program, refreshments re-freshments were served to twenty-seven twenty-seven camp members and guests. 1 |
