Show STORAGE WATER INCREASED DURING MARCH The available storage in the Strawberry reservoir was increased during the month by 3,450 acre feet, which is 851 acre feet better than the last nine-year average, according to a report by Wayne Francis, water commissioner. The total available for irrigation at the present time is 49,934 acre feet. The October 1 to April 1 inflow to the reservoir is 13,880 acre feet, which is 883 acre feet less than a year ago but 2,494 acre feet more than the last nine-year average. April 1st snow measurements at East Portal Strawberry ridge and Daniels Strawberry summit show an increase over last year as well as the last nine years, the report indicated. |
