Show ONLY SEVEN DIED 4 Of 4,000 land, sea and air casualties cas-ualties treated in the South Pacific Pacif-ic in Australia by the Navy, only seven died, according to the Navy's Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. The r e c o r d-breaking mortality rate was only 0.18 per cent. Speedy removal of the wounded from battle areas and excellent medical care, including the use of the sulfa drugs, explains the recovery re-covery of the men, many of whom were badly wounded. o It has been our observation in life that individuals of wealth are able, to take care of themselves and their problems; consequently, we are in favor of assisting those less fortunate in meeting the vicissitudes vicis-situdes of life. |
