I Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Althouse and children of Magna, visited relatives rel-atives and friends in Springville and Provo Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling R. Olsen (Grace Holley) of Columbus, Ohio, have spent the past few days with relatives and friends here and in Mapleton. They plan to leave Friday Fri-day for Riverside, Calif., to make their home. Everett Larsen, who has spent the winter at Weber college, where he was rated an honor student, spent the week-end with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Larsen. He is now employed as a machinist machin-ist at the Ogden Iron Works. James K. "Jim" Alleman, who has just been commissioned an ensign in the U. S. naval air reserve re-serve at Jacksonville, Fla., visited the past week with his-mother, Mrs. Emma K. Alleman, and other relatives and friends in Spring-ville. Spring-ville. ' Mr. and Mrs. Will Clark and son, Russell, have gone to Gooding, Good-ing, Ida., to reside indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Grant have spent the past few weeks on a j business trip to Washington. Mrs. Earl Slaughter of Ontario, Calif., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William S. Jenkins, and other relatives and friends here. i Mrs. P. E. Huish and children of Berkeley, Calif., are spending a few days with Mrs. Huish's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Bird, in this city. Mr. Huish is transacting business in Salt Lake City. |
