Show ATTENTION i DOG OWNERS! Recently the City Council of Springville, deeming- it necessary "or the protection of peace and property of the inhabitants of Springville, passed an ordinance providing for the regulation of logs and making it unlawful for :he owner of any dog to allow the same to run at large within the :orporate limits of Springville luring the hours of from one hour ifter sunset of any day until the lour of sunrise of the following Jay. It further provides that it shall be unlawful for any person to kilH or cause to be killed any dog lir censed as provided by ordinance without the consent of the owner thereof except that any peace officer of-ficer of Springville City or the duly appointed dog tax collector in Spring-ville City may kill any dog allowed to run at ' large in violation of this ordinance and as in the ordinance prohibited, if in the judgment of said peace officers offi-cers or dog tax collector it is necessary ne-cessary to maintain and protect the safety, peace, and property of the inhabitants of Springville. It further provides that any per- son violating any of the provisions pro-visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.00, or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period of not leses than five days nor more than 100 days, or both such fine and imprisonment. We wish to remind you that the period for licensing of dogs has already expired and any unlicensed dogs will be dealt with according to ordinance.
