Show Clipping Tells Of Monkeys In South Africa Headed with the title, "Monkeys "Mon-keys Terrify Children," a news clipping from a South African newspaper and sent to Springville by Elder Max W. Simkins, Springville Spring-ville misisonary, provides a feature fea-ture of unusual Interest to people of this locality who are unfamiliar unfami-liar with the common appearance of moneys. The article says, "Monkeys from the Stella Bush are terrifying terrify-ing pupils of Stellawood school, Durban. It is said that the animals ani-mals have become fierce through hunger and have attacked children child-ren in the school, which is "adjacent "adja-cent to Stella Bush, before stealing steal-ing food from them. "An attack was made on a six-year-old pupil, Clive Jones, who was walking down the school drive, by two monkeys who severely se-verely bit his leg. First-aid was applied at school, and later the child was taken to his home." |
