Show Armed Forces Ft. Sill, Okla., May 10, 1943. Dear Sirs: Received your third paper today. to-day. Gee, that's all I look forward to, for each Monday night is the paper. I surely enjoy reading it. Here's a million thanks to everyone every-one that sends me it. It's just little things like that, that keeps up the morale of a soldier and helps in their own way to win this war. I am a truck driver here at Fort Sill and awful busy all the time. But I can always find time to read every line in the paper. Sincerely, Clifton D. Marsh, Field Artillery April 25, 1943 SpringviUe Herald SpringviUe, Utah Gentlemen: (Today I received two editions of The Herald of the date March 25th. One was addressed to my old mailing address and one to the new one). SpringviUe will always be the home town. I know of no place else where a "kid" growing up has a better background to learn honesty hon-esty and friendliness, and the art of being a good American. Reading Read-ing about people I know there is truly news from home. I enlisted in the Seabees in Washington, D. C, and I went through boot camp at Camp Allen, Al-len, Norfolk, Va. When I left Washington I was assistant manager man-ager and head designer for Black-istone, Black-istone, Inc., one of America's ten largest florists. At present I am on an island in the Southwest Pacific, building an advance base. ; There is plenty of work for everyone as well as plenty to eat. This Seabee motto, "Can Do", is put to a real test out here and the results are often surprising sur-prising as well as successful. I want to express my thanks to the Jaycees for their interest in sending us the Herald. Sincerely, Harry Zabriskie. Ben G. Bartholomew, son of Mr. and Mrs. George M.
