Show ENUMERATORS ARE NEEDED FOR AGRICULTRUE DATA The 1944 Agricultural Census, sponsored by the Bureau of Census, Cen-sus, Department of Commerce, Washington, D. C. wil be taken on all farms "in the United States during January and February, 1945. Area 2, embracing Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Tooele counties, with headquarters at No. 344 Federal Building, Salt Lake City, is supervised by G. V. Bililngs and B. Spencer Young. Selection of the enumerators for each district will start immediately and anyone who wishes to assist, who is capable of performing the duties, is urged to get in touch with these local supervisors. Training for enumerators will be given during December 1944. Complete cooperation of all farmers, far-mers, farm organizations and others oth-ers interested in agriculture and livestock is earnestly solicited, in order that this census be accurate accur-ate and complete. Upon this census will depend many of the benefit payments, the postwar planning, the income to the extension service, and the present war-emergency program. The law provides that the information infor-mation gathered will not be made available to any one or any organization orga-nization except to the census bureau. bu-reau. It will not be used for income in-come or any other tax purpose. The information given to the enumerators enu-merators will be secret and every enumerator is pledged under heavy hea-vy penalty of the law to reveal no f information to anyone outside of the census bureau. |
