Show Kolob Lumber To Defend Girls' State Softball Title Tourney Will Begin Wednesday, August 13, At White Park In Salt Lake; Kolob Victor In Two Games the Past Week Spring-ville's Kolob Lumber Girls' softball team, who captured the Utah state girls' title last year, will hp in the tournament again this year to defend their title. The tournament, wmcn starts August 13, at White Park in Salt Lake City, will run from Wednesday Wednes-day through Saturday. With a more consistent club backed with a more thorough knowledge of the game, the Kolob team should be hard to put out of the tourney. Art Hughes, who took over the team as manager just a few weeks ago, has brought the aggregation over the top in most of their games played since that date. The lineup for the Kolob team is Ullock and Twelves, pitchers; Patrick, catcher; Hinckley, first base; Hanks, second; Johnson, third; Clay son, short; Weight, roving rov-ing fielder; Robertson, left field; Robison, center; Twelves or Ul, lock, right field. These feminine stars will run up against some of the most outstanding teams in the intermountain region in the Utah tourney.
