Show SERVICES TODAY FORH. A. MINER Funeral services for Harvey Alma Al-ma Miner, 72, who died Monday morning at the family home in Thistle, will be held this afternoon after-noon at 8 p. m. In the Thistle L. D. S. ward chapel with Bishop J. I. Hayes in charge. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery here under the direction of the Claudin funeral home. Friends may call at the family residence res-idence at Thistle. For 26 years a resident of Thistle, This-tle, Mr. Miner was engaged in farming. He was born May 22, 1869, at Fairview, Utah, a son of Alma L. and Caroline Nielsen Miner. He married Tadga DeFriez, September 9, 1896. They lived in various Utah towns until he came to Thistle to make his permanent home. He is survived by his widow and eight sons and daughters: John Alma Miner of Goldfield, Nev.; Clinton Miner of Thistle; Dallas Thorn Miner, Mrs. Genevieve Holt, Mrs. Hilda Lyons and Mrs. Dorothy Doro-thy Kratz of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith Huff of Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Lucile Elwell of Kingman, Ariz. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Andrew Clinton Clin-ton Miner of Tetonia, Idaho; Don C Miner of Fairview, Utah; Mrs. Emma Howell and Mrs. Inez Barnes, both of Nephi; Mrs. Effie Jones, Fairview; Mrs. Edna Walton, Wal-ton, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Mrs. Chloe Stephens of El Paso, Texas. He also has a number of grandchildren. |
