Show JAYCEES WELCOME NEW MEMBERS; VISIT PAYSON CLUB Springville Jaycees welcome as new members : Russen Bird, F. D. j Hoffman, Ray McKenzie and Carl Peterson. Thirty-five Springville Jaycees and wives attended the Charter night and Installation banquet of the newly-organized Payson Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce last Thursday. A very fine program, dinner and dance were enjoyed by, Mr. and Mrs. Virl Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lundquist, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Miller, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Althouse, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Johnson, John-son, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Radcliffe, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith, Dick Con-over, Con-over, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Jenkins, Jen-kins, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Klauck, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Child, Mr. and Mrs. Bliss Packard, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thorn, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Mortensen and Mr. and Mrs. Don Rigby. State President Grant Thorn presented the charter and installed the officers, and featured on the program were, Harley and his musical saw, and Dick and Smitty with their mandolins. One of the outstanding events enoyed by the Springville Jaycees will be the coming Third Annual Boat Party, to be held on Utah Lake. Those participating should get their tickets now (they are going fast) and remember to be on dock promptly at eight o'clock armed with a box lunch. |
