Show CHURCH NOTICES Fourth Ward . . . OUTING The Fourth ward will conduct an outing Saturday, Aug. 12, at Cherry Camp, Hobble Creek canyon, can-yon, under direction of the ward Sunday school, with Supt. W. W. Clyde in charge. A fine program of sports, lunch ari(dj (bonfire entertainment has been planned for the occasion and anyone without transportation is asked to be at the ward chapel at 4 or 5 or 6 p. m., and transportation transporta-tion will be provided. Everyone must bring their own lunch to the outing. Watermelon will be served by the Sunday school. The lunch is scheduled for 7:30 p. m., to 8:30 p. m., and the bonfire program will begin at 8:30 p. m. All members of the ward are cordially invited to attend. at-tend. Sacrament Meeting . . . The Sunday evening sacrament service will feature a talk by Amos N. Merrill of the B. Y. U. faculty in the Fourth ward chapel, beginning begin-ning at 6:30 p. m. The meeting will be under direction of the bishopric. Fifth Ward . . . Sunday Evening Services ... Attorney Isaac Broctfbank of Provo, is scheduled as the principal princi-pal speaker at the Sunday evening eve-ning services of the Fifth ward Sunday evening, in the Second ward chapel. In addition to the speaker, a fine program has been arranged under direction of the ward bishopric. Attorney Brock-bank Brock-bank will speak on the subject, "Why We Believe Joseph Smith To Be A Prophet," and all members mem-bers of the ward are urged to at-1 at-1 tend. |
