Legion Auxiliary The March meeting of the Legion Leg-ion Auxiliary will be conducted next Wednesday evening at Memorial Me-morial hall, under the direction of Mrs. Olive Miller, president. The program will be on "Americanism" "Ameri-canism" in charge of Mrs. Ella Crandall, chairman. The auxiliary is sponsoring an essay contest In the high school on Americanism and the winners will read their essays and be presented with defense de-fense stamp prizes rhiring the evening. eve-ning. , Camp Kolob D. U. P. Members of Camp Kolob, under direction of Mrs. Sarah Weight, will be entertained at the home of Mrs. Alice Davis, Thursday afternoon, March 9. Alpha Beta Club Mrs. Emil Ostlund will be hostess hos-tess to members of the Alpha Beta club at her home on Friday, March 3, at 4 o'clock. First District Club Meeting A board meeting and tea for club presidents, officers and chairmen of the 1st district Federated Women's Wom-en's clubs will be conducted Saturday Sat-urday at 2:30 p. m., at Memorial hall, under direction of Mrs. Harold Har-old Christensen, district president. Camp Aaron Johnson D. U. P. Members of Camp Aaron Johnson John-son D. U. P. will meet at the home of Mrs. Ramola Norton on Thursday, March 9. A good program pro-gram is arranged for the occasion and officers of the camp will be elected. County .officers are expected ex-pected to be in attendance and all members are urged to be present. Pari Passu Club Marthta Eird will be hostess to members of the Pari Passu club at the next regular meeting at her home on Friday evening, March 3. The program will feature a paper on South America by Mrs. Mary Schwartz. |
