Show W. H. Larabee to Celebrate 86th birthday William H. Larabee, resident of Springville for many years, will celebrate his eighty-sixth birthday Friday at the home of a son, Louis H. Cutler, with whom he resides. Born in Towersville, Crawford county, JVisconsin, March 3, 1858, he spent his early life in that state" He married Nettie Putman in Wisconsin. They had one child, which died at the age of six years, and Mrs. Larabee died six weeks later. Mr. Larrabee later came west and settled in Utah, where he worked on railroad construction for a number of years. Later he was in the poultry industry, for about twenty years, retiring in 1938. He married Mrs. Sarah Sams-bury Sams-bury Cutler June 1, 1908, and she died December 4, 1940. Mr. Larabee takes much pleasure pleas-ure in reading and goes through several books each week. He has eight sons and daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Thelma Christensen, Frank Larabee, Louis H. Cutler, Springville; Fred Cutler, Salt Lake City; John Cutler, Fairplay, Colo.; Mrs. Lurleen Baker, Carson City, Nev.; Mrs. Tillie Lawritzen, . Battle Mountain, Nev.; Eli Cutler, Cut-ler, Compton, Calif., and also nineteen nine-teen grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. - |
