Show 1 I MISSIONARY SOCIETY HAS i ANNUAL SILVER TEA I ' Well arranged in every detail was the annual Silver Tea, spon- sored by the Missionary Society 7 of the Presbyterian-Community church Saturday afternoon at the 'j home of Mrs. D. B. Welch. Mrs. ) Owen Test, Mrs. George TenEyck, Mrs. Welch and Mrs. Agnes A. i Eismann were hostesses, if Lovely spring flowers formed a ' centerpiece for the serving table " and Mrs. Elias Jones poured. h Mrs. Charles Franks, president 7 of the society, presided and gave the opening prayer, followed by )j reading of the scriptures by Rev. )L Elias Jones. Other numbers on the program were vocal solos by Mrs. . Hilda Seiberts of Payson, accom-jf accom-jf panied by Mrs. Welch at the pia-" pia-" no, and vocal duets bv Mrs. Helen ' Thorpe and Mrs. Geraldine Sim- h mons, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Bird. Mrs. F. V. Martin gave an - interesting review of the book, j "The Burma Surgeon." The serv- Jf ing of lunch closed a pleasant and profitable afternoon as the society , realized a goodly sum for its Jf many activities. |
