Show KIWANIS HEARS ' TALK BY PROVO SPEAKER "TBirthday To Be Observed March 9 With Ladies Night Fete D o Wight of Provo gave a comprehensive and interesting talk on various forms of government govern-ment of the Allied nations at a meeting of the Kiwanis club last Thursday evening. A fine program was given under iai direction of Selvoy J. Boyer, toastmaster, which included a saxaphone duet by Walter Peterson Peter-son and Russell Hales, accompanied accompa-nied by Robert Thorn at the piano. The meeting was in charge of W. W. Erockbank, president. V. C. Mendenhall won the attendance prize. During the evening, Clarence E. Jensen read two letters, one from Joe Salisbury and another from . Robert Mendenhall, in the armed forces, and club members continued con-tinued to write letters to the servicemen. ser-vicemen. Also, six servicemen, here on furlough, were guests of the club members and were, Clifton Anderson, Ander-son, Byron Wardle, Lazell Bale, Max Averett, Wilford Ivie and A. Calvin Finley. The next club meeting was announced an-nounced for March 9, when the organization of the Springville Kiwanis club will be celebrated with a program and Ladies Night entertainment, being arranged by G. Lowry Anderson, toastmaster for the evening. |
