Mendenhall, Menden-hall, held Sunday at Mapleton . Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Averett of Los Angeles, Calif., are spending spend-ing a two-weeks' vacation with relatives and friends here and in Provo. Mrs. Ronald Averett plans to leave this week for San Antonio, Texas, to join her husband who is stationed there with the Armed Forces. Mrs. Margaret Grooms and chil- dren of Salt Lake City, are spending spend-ing the week with her mother, Mrs. A. C. Bird, and other relatives! rela-tives! Mrs. Frank Paxman and children chil-dren are visiting her mother, Mrs. Jonena Fullmer, and other relatives rela-tives and friends here. She came from Tacoma, Wash. Mrs. M. C. Wood and children, Newel and Marilyn, have returned to their home in Kenilworth following fol-lowing a visit with her sister, Mrs. Ellen T. Giles, and other relatives. Mrs. EIRay Fehr (Virginia Rivers) Riv-ers) has gone to Mare Island, Calif., to join her husband, who is stationed there with the Navy. She has been visiting for several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Huntington. Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Harper and son of Long Beach, Calif., are guests at the home of Mrs. Harper's Har-per's mother, Mrs. Jonena Fullmer. Full-mer. 1 LaRhea Nielson left the past I week for Corpus Christi, Texas, to attend the graduation exercises exer-cises of her fiancee, Wendell Twelves, of Spanish Fork, who was to receive his wings and commission com-mission in the Army Air Corps. She went by train as far as Denver, Den-ver, where she met a friend and the two girls made the trip by motor. w w Mr. and Mrs. Eastham Clegg have returned to their home from California where they visited the past three weeks with their daughters, Mrs. Laura Simpson and family at Berkeley, and Mrs. Lena Poulson and family at Oakland. Oak-land. They were accompanied by another daughter and her husband, hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nelson, of Ogden. |
