Show STORY HOUR TO BE HELD FRIDAY, 3 P. M. The second of a series of summer sum-mer story hours will be conducted at the public library at 3 p. m., Friday, under direction of Mrs. Floss Phillips, librarian. An invitation is extended to all boys and girls in the First grade and older to attend. Last Friday, the first story hour attracted approximately ap-proximately 125 children. An added feature this week will be the visit of the little pygmalion doll, known as "the trashpile dol'-ly," dol'-ly," which has made her way by the gutter route to the Lilliputian court presided over by the famous Queen Rosabelle. Should any of the children not feel acquainted with her, she is the adopted sister now of Queen Rosabelle. Mrs. Phillips also announces that there are now twenty-eight new books in the Junior library available to the children, and she extends an invitation to boys and girls to visit the library often and get acquainted with the new book characters. |
