Show Local Cjirl Takes Nuptial Vows At Glendale, Calif. a Announcement is made by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Condie of the marriage mar-riage of his daughter Ruth to Sgt. DeVere C. Erb, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Erb of Salt Lake City, which took place at the Wee Kirk O' The Heather, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif, on May 16. It was a double ring ceremony, performed by Chaplain Scholton of the Yuma army air base. ' The bride was radiant in a gown of White slipper satin, entrain, with a double silk net veil, fingertip finger-tip length, caught to her head with a coronet of orange blossoms. blos-soms. Her cascade was of white orchids accented with a combination combina-tion of gardenias and bouvardias. Among a profusion of flowers enhanced by white candelabra, the bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attended by Emma Ul-lock Ul-lock and Feola Gudmundson, who were attired in pastel-pink for-mals, for-mals, and her sister, Mrs. Jesse Lee of Salt Lake City, was matron of honor. Their bouquets consisted consist-ed of long sprays of pink and blue sweetpeas, complimenting other details of their attire. A reception for the newlyweds followed the wedding with near relatives and friends attending. On Sunday afternoon, the bride and groom were honored at a buffet buf-fet luncheon at the home of Dr. and Mrs. T. B. Schnaidt at Brentwood Brent-wood Heights, cousins of the groom. The bride is a former student of the Brigham Young university at Provo. The bridegroom is serving serv-ing with the army air force, stationed sta-tioned at Yuma, Ariz. The couple are making their home at Winterhaven, Calif. |
