Johnson, Orem business busi-ness man and a former well-known resident of Springville, has been nominated as a candidate for the position of Utah State School board member on the non-partisan ballot, to be voted on November 2. Mr. Johnson's parents are the late Alex Johnson and Adella Hatch Johnson, long time residents resi-dents of Springville, where Allan attended schools and spent his earlier life. . . f Active in church and civic affairs af-fairs in Utah County for many years, Mr. Johnson has worked for 34 years in the building materials ma-terials business. He is cu'jrenUy serving- as manager of Utah Valley Val-ley Builders Supply and is sales manager of the Geneva Rock Products Co. located in Orem He is immediate past president of the Timpanogos Knife and Fork Club and has served as president of the Provo Kiwams and the Salt Lake Lumbermans Club Having reared a family in Utah County schools, Mr. Johnson is keenly interested in the problems of education in Utah.
