Show Annual Clean-up Day Brings Publicity to City Judging from the number of clippings which Springville people have received from friends and associates in various parts of the country, Springville has received considerable good publicity as result re-sult of a story of its annual Cleanup Clean-up Day which appeared in a national na-tional magazine and subsequently in a syndicated column. Dean Stewart, manager of the Springville Floral, is the most recent re-cent individual to report receiving a clipping concerning the Clean-up Day which to townspeople is taken quite for granted. This clipping came from Hibbard Casselberry, manager of the Casselberry Ferneries, Fern-eries, in Casselberry, Fla., with whom Mr. Stewart has been doing business and his letter stated: "I find the enclosed clipping that appeared ap-peared in our newspaper recently, most interesting. Some day, when you have an extra few minutes, I'd like to know how this was started, how often you have a clean-up day, etc. It seems to be a good idea that one more town could use. I know it would work wonders here." |
