Show Z)own ... Richard Haglund, formerly of Springvile, made a short business stop in Springville the past week enroute by plane to the west coast for his company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He visited the Bob Win-stons, Win-stons, who are planning to leave Springville in the very near future. fu-ture. Mr. Winston is to be em-ployed em-ployed by the same company. He plans to leave early in February and Mrs. Winston may have to remain re-main here until they sell their home in Brookside. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Oldroyd over the past weekend were her sister, Mrs. Duane Buchanan and twins Jack and Jill of Roosevelt. Mrs. Buchanan Bucha-nan arrived on Sunday to accompany accom-pany them home. On Tuesday the Oldroyds had his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Oldroyd of Glenwood and his brother, who has just returned re-turned from service in Korea, as guests. Lt. and Mrs. J. Allan Wingate and their two children Gordon and Stephanie have arrived in Springville Spring-ville from Fort Smith, Ark., and will be here a month before Lt. Wingate reports to Camp Stone-man, Stone-man, Calif., for another assignment assign-ment which he expects to be in the Far East. During their stay here, they will be guests of Lt. Wingate's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Wingate and will also visit Mrs. Wingate's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Braun in Brookside. Lt. Wingate has been stationed at Camp Chaffee directing radio and TV programs and has been highly commended for his fine work. Recently Re-cently one of his programs took first place in an entertainment contest at the camp. Sir. and Mrs. Ronald Mason have as their guest, Mrs. Lydia Larsen of Wellsville, who plans to stay until early spring. |
